Daytona Beach Restaurants
When looking at Daytona Beach real estate or after a hard day of looking at property, a good meal can be a really good break. These are our favorite restaurants in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach and Port Orange. You know the chains, so here are some local restaurant ideas. If you’re from out of town, or new to the area, these are some great places to try and enjoy.

Italian / Pizza
Mario’s Restaurant
521 S. Yonge St. (US1)
Ormond Beach (South of Granada)
386-677-2711
Mario’s has been in the same location since the 50s. The food is very good and the service is excellent. They also have a great take-out service where you can get food for dinner or for parties. There’s a full bar.
Little Italy
1930 W Granada Blvd #5,
Ormond Beach (West of I-95)
(386) 672-7660
The best pizza we’ve found outside of New York City. We’ve also had dinners. This place reminds me of many of the places in the New York. It’s beer and wine and down to earth. They have delivery now.
Gotham City Pizza
197 N Yonge St
Ormond Beach, FL 32174
(386) 672-0049
One of a kind place with great pizza. Marco provided the pizza for our Super Bowl party and it was great. Stop by with the kids or just for great pizza.
Japanese
175 South Nova Rd.
Ormond Beach (South of Granada next to the Firehouse)
386-671-0979
Simply, this is our favorite restaurant. We eat here 3-4 times a month. You can choose a teppanyaki meal with the chef giving you a show while he prepares your food. You can also sit a table and order from the regular or sushi menu. The food is great, and there’s a lot of it. We get two meals every time we eat at Tokyo. There’s a full bar and the staff is the friendliest and dedicated to giving you an enjoyable experience.
Mexican
La Fiesta
3785 South Nova Road
Port Orange (North of Dunlawton)
386-760-2919
That we live about 20-30 minutes from La Fiesta, and it’s where we go for Mexican, you can understand why we like it best for Mexican food. I love Margaritas and the are excellent here.
There’s now a second located in The Trails Shopping Center in Ormond Beach.
Breakfast
Gourmet Kitchen
1930 W Granada Blvd
Ormond Beach (West of I-95)
(386) 672-9119
Our favorite breakfast place. The food is good and reasonable and it’s great for Sunday brunch. They also serve lunch.
Peach Valley Cafe
185 E Granada Blvd
Ormond Beach
386-615-0096
Peach Valley is on the beachside and if I have business there I will go to there rather than Heffers. They also serve lunch. On the weekends there’s usually a wait so be prepared.
American Cuisine
Stonewood
100 S Atlantic Ave (South of Granada)
Ormond Beach
386-671-1200
Stonewood has great food and one of the more active bars in the area. Moderately priced, we always have a good meal here.
Betty’s A1A Cafe
1900 Ocean Shore Blvd (North of Granada)
Ormond Beach
386-441-8131
Betty gives you a lot of good food in a family style setting. Nothing fancy, just very good food.
Chinese
Bamboo Garden
749 S Nova Rd
Ormond Beach
(386) 677-9517
Sit down Chinese , Thai and Vietnamese food. Very good food with a full bar. When we want a quiet Chinese or Thai meal this is where we go. It’s been there for a long time.
Asian Grill
2475 W International Speedway Blvd
Daytona Beach
(386) 255-5588
Take out and sit down. We love the Dim Sum and Fried Dumplings. You get a lot of food and there’s usually more than we eat in one sitting. It’s not fancy, but the food is really good. If the atmosphere is not to your liking, try takeout.
Greek
Dimitri’s On The Beach
790 South Atlantic Avenue
Ormond Beach
386-492-2945
Dimiti’s place on the beach is a Greek feast. There’s a full menu, not just sandwiches. There’s also a full bar and no lack of Ouzo. This place is really good and is among our three favorite restaurants in the area.
Music and Food
127 S. Ocean Ave.
Daytona Beach
386-253-5224
Steel bands, karaoke, and good food and drink. The Ocean Deck is a Daytona landmark and you should try it a least once. Some love it, some hate it, but everyone remembers.
Cafes
Caffeine – Now Called Grind Gastropub
49 W Granada Blvd
Ormond Beach, FL
386-672-7277
Located west of the Granada Bridge. Caffeine is adding some spice to downtown Ormond Beach. The Ahi is great and you can get a nice meal and good wine for a good price. The also have Belgian Ale. Few restaurants carry Chimay Blue in the area, but you can find it at The Grind.
