Daytona Beach Shores
Just south of Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores also offers some of the most affordable oceanfront homes in the country. Daytona Beach Shores offers a less trafficked ocean front destination than Dayton Beach proper, with more residential homes and condos. The Shores gives its’ residents a quieter more laid back atmosphere and less traveled stretch of A1A while still offering the same selection of luxury ocean front homes, as well as beautiful riverfront homes on the Intracoastal waterway.
Daytona Beach Shores falls only on the beachside and is surrounded by water on the east and west sides. Daytona Beach Shores Real Estate offers a great variety of styles of homes and almost self-contained community with shopping and restaurants. From here, you’ll never have to venture to the mainland again if you don’t want to! Neighboring communities include Port Orange, Ponce Inlet, Wilbur-by-the-Sea and Daytona Beach.
There are a large variety of homes available at different prices in Daytona Beach Shores. Homes range in price from listings at under $200,000 to over a million dollars. That’s a big range but there are small bungalows and huge oceanfront estates. The beach is no more than a few minute walk from anywhere in Daytona Beach Shores and all beaches in the area are public beaches.
When we first moved to the area, we lived in the Shores and enjoyed the quieter beach for long walks. My son loved surfing with his boogie board. It’s a really nice place to live.
There’s really no clear line separating Daytona Beach from Daytona Beach Shores.
